The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt. This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.

Advanced Diver rating is necessary to dive the Galapagos Island and other dives that are beyond the realm of open water. You have enjoyed diving with a dive master, now go farther and use the knowledge gained and the experience of being an Advanced Diver on your next dive with confidence. Do two core dives which include Night, Deep, Navigation and two elective dives. The elective dives help you on your goals to be a better diver. Interested in Photography, Wreck, Archaeology and Dry Suit? These dives can be counted toward a specialty of your choice and will help you if you decide to take the Leadership Challenge. Dives can be done either locally on a outing into the Atlantic where shipwrecks abound, the St. Lawrence Seaway, where summer-warm fresh waters reveal dive sites like no others. How about a trip to an exotic location where your deep diving experience will allow you to fully enjoy the wonders found beneath the sea? Take the Advanced Course and do 5 dives. Learn how to navigate reciprocal, triangular and other dive course. Want to figure out how to get back to a favorite dive site without wasting precious bottom time and air. Learn how to calculate your SAC rate, get an introduction to deeper dives and diving at night when octopuses and other nocturnal species come out. |
